FAQ
• What's so special about soy candles?
Our candles are made with soy wax that is grown and harvested in the United States. Soybeans are a renewable resource and soy wax is a more sustainable form of wax, compared to others like paraffin and soy blends. It is also vegan friendly and does not involve animals at any point in the production.
Soy wax burns slower and softer than traditional waxes and promotes a clean, soot-free burn and a subtle scent to enhance your space.

• How do I reuse the jars?
We source containers that are modern and versatile so that they can be reused in any space. To repurpose your jar, allow the candle to burn until there is 1/2" of wax left. Allow the container to cool completely, put the container in the freezer until the wax has hardened, and use a spoon to pop the hardened wax and wick out of the container. Use hot water and soap to clean out the container and use it for cotton balls, craft supplies, potting a new plant, whatever you can think of! Please throw away the remaining 1/2" of wax or use it in a wax melter. While soy wax is eco-friendly and biodegradable, it should never be poured down the drain.

• How do I make the scent stronger?
Soy wax is known for it's soft burning and subtle, delicate throw. Although a soy candle might not bring you headache inducingly strong scents, there are steps you can take to increase the scent throw. First, make sure you are following all of the Candle Care steps listed above. Second, check the room size. The size of the room greatly affects the scent throw and a small candle in a large room is not likely to produce a ton of scent! Here is a quick guide to room size and scent throw:
